We got a coupon in the mail (I've also seen them inside Baby Talk magazine) for a free $10 gift card when you open a registry at Babies R Us. If you don't get one in the mail or see them inside Baby Talk magazine, you could call the store and ask when/how they send them out to see.
- Open a registry at Target.com or Target stores
We also got a coupon in the mail from Target regarding opening a registry (Baby or wedding) and getting a $10 gift card. We have an online account at Target.com and so I assume they got our address from that.
